Job summary

United Hospital Center seeks a Neurodiagnostic (ND) Technician to perform routine and specialized ND procedures (EEG/EMG) with competency for adult and pediatric patients. You will assist physicians with data collection, documentation, and training of staff, while maintaining equipment and contributing to new procedure development.

The role requires meeting ND certifications within 2 years and ongoing CEU participation in a dynamic lab environment at UHC in Bridgeport, WV.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of several educational paths in ND tech role.
• Certification in ND tech required within 2 years of hire.
• Proven ability to work with both adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Ensure completion and documentation of ND procedures.
• Prepare data for physician ND reports and assist training of staff.
• Perform ND procedures in EEG or EMG under policy and guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and participate in continuous education.
