Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in the medical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
• Graduate of an EEG program preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality routine and complex EEGs to obtain diagnostic data.
• EEGs, long-term monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, EMG assistance, and monitoring.
• Preparing patients, equipment, and rooms for procedures.
• Educating patients and families about procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Monitoring patient safety and comfort during tests.
• Documenting accurate data and maintaining reports within hospital systems.
• Participating in orientation and training for new team members.
• Performing equipment cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Taking on-call responsibilities and adjusting work schedules based on department needs.
