Qualifications

• Graduation from an acceptable program of Neurodiagnostics or acceptable pathway.
• RPSGT certification or eligibility preferred.
• Possible entry at Neurodiagnostic Tech I level for candidates with no experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic patient testing: polysomnographic testing with possible oxygen therapy and CPAP.
• Set-up and calibrate room and equipment in patient rooms; maintain equipment.
• Read and score neurodiagnostic and polysomnographic tests.
• May provide instruction to other technologists in the Neurodiagnostic/Sleep Disorders Lab.
• Take patient history and instruct patients and families on test preparation.
• Remote scoring opportunities may be available.
