Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician CNIM Autotransfusionist to perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic studies and operate autotransfusion systems during surgeries. The role emphasizes intraoperative monitoring to preserve neurological function and effective blood management for patient safety.

You will conduct a full range of neurodiagnostic tests, assist with EMG/NCS and Botox administration under physician guidance, and ensure precise documentation and equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of intraoperative neuromonitoring experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic technologist training program.
• CPR Certification.
• Certification in Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) - ABRET.
• Pediatric experience (preferred).
• Certification or training in autotransfusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic testing including intraoperative monitoring.
• Provide intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring during various surgical procedures.
• Assist with EMG/NCS and Botox injections under physician guidance.
• Operate autotransfusion equipment during surgeries and ensure safe reinfusion.
• Maintain documentation, equipment setup, and compliance with infection control.
