Job summary

IMS, headquartered in Phoenix, is seeking an EEG Technician to perform standard and complex EEG procedures, including Full Battery Evoked Response and CSA analysis, for patients across ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited EEG technician program strongly preferred.
• Active ABRET EEG certification strongly preferred.
• Two years' experience in Neurology preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA knowledge and secure handling of Protected Health Information.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex EEGs using the International 10-20 system and applies electrodes.
• Maintains equipment and inventories, and reports major repairs as needed.
• Records responses to visual, auditory, or somatosensory stimuli with evoked potentials equipment.
• Provides patient care and observations during seizures and other emergencies.
• Summarizes neurologic status and history from chart and interviews.
• Performs comprehensive analysis of raw and processed EEG data.
