Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I to perform EEGs in the lab and at the bedside, including video/EEG monitoring and ambulatory studies. You will provide descriptive waveform analysis, support the clinical team, and maintain safety and documentation per department standards.

FT days, the role requires a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and completion of a CAAHEP-accredited NDT program with REEG.T within 2 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• BLS or ARC-BLS certification required upon hire.
• REEG.T certification within 2 years.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited NDT program preferred.
• Registry eligible with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform EEG procedures with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify artifacts.
• Follow EEG unit safety and electrical standards.
• Prepare and log EEG studies in patient files.
• Recognize significant EEG events and escalate as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and coordinate with care staff.
• Stock supplies and prep patient rooms for EEG procedures.
