Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to participate in long term audio-visual EEG monitoring on adult and pediatric patients. You will prepare equipment, assist physicians, and ensure PFCC-centered care while maintaining safety and teamwork across care teams.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or completion of a CAAHEP-accredited neurodiagnostic program preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred or enrollment in a CAAHEP-accredited neurodiagnostic program.
• 3–4 years of experience in a hospital/clinical patient care function.
• Certification: ABRET-REEGT or BRPT-RPSGT within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during Continuous Audio Visual EEG Recording and assist physicians.
• Prepare patient and supplies for EEG monitoring via scalp or intracranial electrodes.
• Follow established safety precautions to ensure a safe environment.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics to prevent injuries during procedures.
