Intermountain Health in Murray, Utah, is seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician / Neurointensivist to join the IMED team. IMED is a top-tier Comprehensive Stroke Center with strong research support.

The role covers a 24-bed NCCU, inpatient consults across ICUs, and Tele-NC care for the Intermountain system. You will work a flexible schedule with 24-hour in-house NCC coverage and APP support, plus opportunities to teach and participate in clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in neurocritical care (UCNS or ACGME).
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or ability to obtain one.
• US ACGME Neurology Residency completed.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• DEA license.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary coverage for the 24-bed IMED Neurocritical Care Unit.
• Provide inpatient neurocritical care consults in IMED ICUs (medical/surgical/trauma).
• Provide Tele-Neurocritical Care (TNCC) services for hospitals in the Intermountain system.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgeons, Neurohospitalists, Interventional Neuroradiology, Critical Care, Neurorehabilitation & Trauma.
• Flexible schedule with days/nights; 24-hour in-house NCC coverage with APP support.
• Own patient care in the closed NCCU (e.g., aSAH, ICH, LVO stroke).
• Lead/participate with national TNCC leaders; engage in health care delivery research.
