Job summary

UCHealth Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Neurocritical Care Physician to join their Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine team in Colorado. The role focuses on developing a new neurocritical care program and collaborating with trauma, neurology, neurosurgery, and anesthesia specialists at a Level I center.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of neurocritical care experience and a strong interest in program development, with EPIC EMR utilized across the system.

Qualifications

• Board certification in neurocritical care is required.
• At least two years of neurocritical care experience preferred.
• Interest in developing a neurocritical care program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pulmonary/critical care, anesthesia, trauma, neurology, neuro interventional and neurosurgery teams to develop the program.
• Work out of Medical Center of the Rockies, a Level I Trauma Center and thrombectomy-capable stroke center, pursuing Comprehensive Stroke designation.
• Participate in a team-based care model supported by APPs with ENLS certification.
• Contribute to a Neurocritical Care Steering Committee to grow the program.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system system-wide.
