Job summary

Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, CO, seeks a BC/BE Neurointensivist to join the Division of Neurosurgery and help advance a growing Neurocritical Care program. You will co-manage critically ill neurologic and neurosurgical patients across multiple ICUs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a busy Level I trauma center.

The role includes an academic appointment with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, ~20 clinical service weeks annually, and opportunities to teach

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology or Neurosurgery residency.
• Completion of an accredited Neurocritical Care fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurocritical Care by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurocritical care co-management for critically ill neurologic and neurosurgical patients across ICUs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary critical care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support development of a dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit and participate in education, quality improvement, and research.
• Engage in academic activities and contribute to program growth and scholarly work.

Education
