Job summary
BAS HealthCare is seeking a full-time locum Advanced Practice Provider for their Neurocritical Care unit located in Wilmington, NC. This position requires ACLS and BLS certifications, and candidates must be licensed in North Carolina or have an IMLC license.
The role offers a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts and competitive hourly rates. The facility is a Trauma Level 2 center with comprehensive emergency services, and support for travel access is provided.
Qualifications

- Experience in Neurocritical care is preferred.

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist, Physician Assistant - Neurology, Nurse Practitioner - Neurology, Physician Assistant - Hospitalist
- Full‑time locum Neurocritical Care APP position for 10‑bed Neuro ICU
- 12‑hour shifts available (7a‑7p and 7p‑7a) with flexibility on shift preference
- 14 shifts per month commitment with 10 patient encounters per shift
- Single full‑time provider preferred, but multiple locums APPs will be considered
- Coverage needed beginning in July with ongoing needs
- Must be licensed in North Carolina or hold IMLC license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Trauma Level2 facility with comprehensive emergency services
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Nearest airport: ILM for convenient travel access
