Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID seeks an experienced Neurocritical Care physician to lead the NCC Attending role for neuro medical and consult duties in traumatic brain injury and surgical cases. The role collaborates with surgical critical care, pulmonary/critical care, neuro hospitalists, and neurosurgeons across a multi-hospital system.

The NCC physician will support robotic telestroke consultations for inpatient stroke and participate in a telestroke hub-and-spoke model serving

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in neurocritical care or critical care with neurology/neurosurgery/anesthesia emergency medicine background.
• Fellowship in Neurocritical Care completed or active board certification/eligibility.
• Idaho and Oregon medical licensure or eligibility and hospital privileges at SARMC-Boise.

Responsibilities

• Lead NCC Attending role for neuro medical and consult duties in TBI and surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgical critical care, pulmonary/critical care, neuro hospitalists and neurosurgeons.
• Support telestroke hub and expand telemedicine services across SAHS hospitals.
