Job summary

Pinnacle Clinical Research is seeking a Psychometric Rater in Edinburgh, TX to lead standardized cognitive and behavioral assessments in Alzheimer's disease trials. You will work with clinical staff, sponsors, and participants to ensure accurate, protocol-driven data collection.

Ideal candidates have a psychology/social work background with geriatric experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in social work, psychology or related health field; Masters preferred.
• Combination of education and significant experience may be considered
• Experience working with a geriatric population
• Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team and independently.
• Proficient in administering cognitive assessments
• Research experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer assessments for the Free Memory Screen Clinic
• Administer cognitive tests and rating scales
• Maintain scales (queries, training, etc.)
• Serve as a rater on AD trials and related neurodegenerative diseases
• Aid in recruitment databases and conduct recruitment/outreach
• Participate in meetings and ensure data are recorded accurately
• Ensure measurements are consistent and data are secure
• Adhere to GCP and IRB requirements
• Participate in QA activities to ensure data integrity
• Attend regular training and collaborate with trial team
• Engage in professional development relevant to the role
