Job summary

Education Unlimited invites energetic neuroanatomy instructors to join our fun, activity-based summer programs for high school and early college students. You will teach Neuroanatomy concepts, supervise labs, and help run field trips, online labs, and capstone presentations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years teaching neuroanatomy or related content, a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), strong organization, and a passion for science education.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience teaching neuroanatomy or significant subject matter knowledge.
• Experience working with high school or younger university students in an academic setting.
• Bachelor's degree required; preference given to those with an advanced degree.
• A passion for science education.
• A calm and professional demeanor.
• Self-motivation and follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Online Camp Responsibilities include teaching the Education Unlimited curriculum, supervising campers online, organizing and leading classroom labs, and delivering a finale showcasing student work.
• In-person Camp Responsibilities include teaching the curriculum, supervising campers in and out of the classroom, organizing and leading labs, and presenting student work at camp end.
• Assist the camp director with active supervision, recreational activities, and some administrative tasks.
• Act as mentors to students and support field trips and excursions.
• Overnight programs may require commuting or staying on campus, with room and board provided.
