Job summary

Orlando Health's 24-bed Neuro-Trauma Acute Care Unit seeks an experienced RN to deliver patient-centered care to those with complex neurological and trauma-related conditions. You will plan and revise individualized care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout hospitalization.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and area-specific certifications such as ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas; NRP for NICU.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Evaluates patient progress toward expected outcomes.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient care following regulatory standards.
• Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, or nurse clinician where appropriate.
