Job summary

MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute- Old Brooklyn is seeking an RN for the Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury Unit, 6N, with a 7p-7a shift and rotating weekends/holidays. Bi-weekly hours total 72, offering up to a $10,000 sign-on for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new grads.

24-bed unit with interdisciplinary care teams and robust benefits. Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification for healthcare provider.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide ventilator and trach care on rehab unit.
• Support SCI retraining and bowel/bladder management.
• Implement wound prevention and care strategies.
• Utilize rehab-specific education for patient/family.
