Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Medical Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year med/surg experience, Tennessee nursing licensure, and current BLS certification. You will pursue Med-Surg certification within 12 months of hire. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire

Responsibilities

• You will be performing patient rounding in an effort to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.
• You will promote customer service initiatives.
