Job summary
Mission Hospital in North Carolina is hiring a Registered Nurse (FT, Nights) for the Neurology unit (A6 West). The 36-bed neuro tele unit focuses on stroke care and epilepsy monitoring, offering a unique EMU with 24/7 seizure monitoring and specialized tests.
A supportive team culture encourages professional growth and collaboration. Requirements include a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with plans to obtain BSN within 5 years, current NC RN license (eNLC may apply), and BLS certification.
Qualifications
- One year hospital nursing experience
- Current North Carolina RN license; eNLC may apply
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program with BSN within 5 years
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to facilitate delivery of professional nursing care
- Utilizes nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care
- Teach and inform patients and families about care plans
