Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a Neuro Technician to support neurological diagnostic testing in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will assist with EEGs and other tests, ensuring accurate results and patient comfort in a geriatric population.

The role involves travel to partner facilities, adherence to clinical protocols, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. A strong attention to detail and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or formal neurodiagnostic training preferred.
  • Certification as EEG or Neurodiagnostic Technician (R.EEG T., CNIM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Prior experience in neurodiagnostic testing strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with the geriatric population.
  • Ability to travel to multiple facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for neurological diagnostic procedures, including EEGs and other neurodiagnostic tests
  • Perform neurodiagnostic testing in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any significant findings or concerns to the supervising clinician
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of neurodiagnostic equipment; accurately document test results, observations, and patient responses in the medical record
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies
  • Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to support high-quality patient care
  • Travel to partner skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assigned

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Neuro Technician to join our growing team.
