Aurora Health Care’s Neuro Medical/Stroke unit in Milwaukee is seeking a newly licensed or tenured nurse to join a Magnet-designated medical center. The 22-bed 10LM unit cares for stroke and seizure patients, with opportunities across EEG monitoring, education, and career development.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• New grads welcome.
• RN license in the state where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care.
• Coordinate with the care team and discharge planning.
• Ensure patient safety and educate families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in quality/process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor/teach newer staff as appropriate.
