Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks to hire a Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

The Clinical Nurse (RN) provides and supervises direct and indirect total nursing care, using the nursing process to achieve department goals. The NeuroScience Progressive Care Units (Stepdown) at Duke University Hospital comprise two 37 bed units in the Brand new Duke Central Tower.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ASN/Diploma).
• All RNs without a BSN must enroll within two years and complete within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Support specialized care in NeuroScience Progressive Care Units.
