Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Neuro Step Down RN to join a 29-bed unit specializing in neurology recovery, including neurosurgery patients and neuro injuries.

We offer a Nurse Residency Program for new graduates, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness programs, and a wearable safety badge. Work options include 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) with 12-hour day or night shifts and competitive shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required.
• RN license in New Mexico or a Compact State license required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in a 29-bed Neuro Step Down unit.
• Care for patients recovering from neurosurgery or neurological injuries, including psych patients.
• Participate in Nurse Residency Program for new graduates with seminars and mentoring.
• Document patient care using the EPIC electronic charting system.
