Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Step Down Unit in our Level II Trauma Center. This 12-hour day shift role places you on a 17-bed SDU, caring for post-operative and neurological patients with high acuity and advanced equipment.

You will work in a newly built unit, collaborate with a forward-thinking team, and grow specialized critical care skills. Idaho RN license with BLS; ACLS & PALS within timelines are required; multistate licenses

Qualifications

• Idaho or multistate RN license required; residency within 6 months if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center in a 17-bed SDU.
• Care for neurological patients including post-operative, TBIs, strokes and seizures.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients.
