Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking an OR Nurse (Circulator/Scrub) in the Neuro Operating Room to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

You will organize and deliver individualized nursing care in line with hospital policies, participate in patient teaching, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Active CT RN license and OR experience are required; BSN preferred and BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CT RN license active and in good standing.
• OR experience required;Graduate Nurses may apply to Transition program.
• BSN preferred for this role.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organizes and administers professional patient care in the OR.
• Participates in patient teaching and quality improvement activities.
• Neuro OR team delivers care for neuro/spine procedures.
