Job description

Position: CHS Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / Neuro Spine MedSurg/Tele (7p-7a)

Position Information:

Higher acuity med-surg unit specializing in diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, post-op neuro/spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, and level 1 trauma post-ICU care. Also includes care for DKA, renal failure, and general post-op patients.

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights 7p-7a, with occasional weekends and holiday rotations. Block scheduling option available.

Pay: GH bi-weekly: $72 or $96

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6

Maximum RTO: 1 week

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Required skills/experience: Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube and groin site management post IR procedures.
