Job summary

HCA Healthcare and TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN, invite you to join as an Acute Care Neuro Spine Nurse. You will provide patient‑centered nursing care, collaborates with the care team, and advocate for patients and families to ensure outstanding outcomes and experiences.

You will assess, perform, teach, and manage care, documenting thoroughly, and educating patients on plans, medications, and follow‑ups while upholding the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• One year of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and document care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and act if adverse reactions occur.
• Educate patients and families about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
