Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist - Neurology in Vancouver, WA for a full-time Day position. The role focuses on evaluating patients, determining plans of care, and contributing to treatment outcomes within a collaborative care team.

The position requires ASHA-certified SLP with state licensure, CCC-SLP, and BLS upon hire, with preferred neuro experience and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree required in Speech and Language Pathology as ASHA accredited.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Washington is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and establish treatment plans and goals.
• Complete patient treatment and update plan as needed.
• Complete documentation in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuous patient care.
• Mentor and supervise new clinicians, CFY candidates, and aides; provide training.
• Contribute to development of new services and quality monitoring.
