Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neuro/Med Surg telemetry unit to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in-person on a 39-bed unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. This role emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care.

You will assess patients, implement nursing interventions, document needs, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and a bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
