Job summary

Mercy in Collinsville, IL, seeks a Neurology RN in the Medical 8 East unit for PT, day shift. Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and perform ongoing assessments, documentation, and care coordination.

Ideal candidates are eligible to work in Missouri or a compact state, hold an ADN/ Diploma/ BSN and BLS, and enjoy clinical complexity, teamwork, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
