Job summary

Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) – PRN outpatient clinic in San Antonio, TX. Provide 1:1, 60-minute treatment sessions for adults with neurological injuries in a flexible outpatient setting.

Ideal candidate will have a Master’s in SLP, active state license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of experience. PRN role with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, offering professional growth and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program required.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury preferred.
• Demonstrates effective and professional communication in verbal and written form.
• Strong organization and attention to detail required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
