The MetroHealth System is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Trauma Recovery Stroke Unit (5N) in Cleveland, OH. This role focuses on stroke rehabilitation, neurological assessments, and patient-family education within a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience for PRN shifts; BSN and rehabilitation certifications are preferred. PRN schedule includes 7a-7p and 7p-7a with 16 biweekly hours on site.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care on the 5N Stroke Unit.
• Perform neurological assessments and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Therapists, and Providers.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs.
