Job summary

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (Neuro) for PRN/ Casual work in the Columbia, SC area. Join interdisciplinary teams delivering in-home and community-based neuro-rehab with a flexible PRN schedule.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating impairments, collaborating with families and professionals, and ensuring safety during therapy sessions. Requires PTA certification in GA and valid driver’s license; a Bachelor’s/Master’s

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required.
Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred.
Must be certified in the state of Georgia.
Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, equipment use, OSHA and infection control regulations.
Experience in treating neurologically related disorders preferred.
Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills.
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
A valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety.
