Job summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient and outpatient services for patients age 15 and older, including evaluations and evidence-based treatment plans.

This role requires an OT degree, NBCOT certification, Indiana state license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of adult neuro rehab experience; the team emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited program.
• Must be registered/certified by National Board for Certification of OTs (NBCOT).
• Occupational Therapist IN state license required.
• Must have current CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards or be able to obtain within 4 weeks of start date.
• 1 year adult neuro rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers OT evaluations to inpatients and/or outpatients and determines appropriate treatment programs and/or equipment needs.
• Develops a patient-centered treatment plan based on evaluation, goals and age-related needs to optimize function.
• Ensures treatment plan supports medical necessity and includes evidence-based treatments and outcomes measures.
• Provides clinical supervision and coordination of care to assistants, techs, and students according to regulations and hospital guidelines.
