Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support neuro-rehabilitation in a residential setting in Brewer, ME. The role includes daily living assistance, safety, and helping patients meet individualized goals.

Full-time weekend schedules are available with sign-on bonuses of $2,500 for weekend CNA/DSP positions or $1,000 for other full-time CNA/DSP roles.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional training or equivalent certification as per Maine DHHS requirements.
• Personal Support Specialist training with required hours and examinations.
• State certifications for caregiving and medication assistance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care for patients.
• Support treatment goals in partnership with clinical and residential teams.
• Assist with community outings, appointments and reintegration activities.
• Observe changes in patient needs or progress and report them.
• Maintain a safe, supportive home environment and uphold patient rights.
