Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking a Full-Time Activities Specialist to join our residential programs in Malvern and West Chester, PA. The role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive recreational program for adults with brain injuries, coordinating with the Recreation Therapist, and supporting clients in daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong writing, planning, organization and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive recreational program for residents.
• Oversee individual recreation programs for assigned clients.
• Complete initial assessments and monitor monthly progress; prepare discharge plans.
• Collaborate with the Recreation Therapist on strategies and activities.
• Provide necessary daily living assistance and supervision per treatment plan.
• Support tasks like med administration, transportation, and job coaching as needed.
