Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a Neuro Post Surgical Nurse Manager who will oversee the daily operations of the post-surgical/neuro unit, ensure high-quality patient care, and guide staff to meet regulatory and clinical standards.

You will lead scheduling, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage admissions/discharges, and drive initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating nursing staff and unit operations.
• Ability to drive patient-centered care and uphold quality outcomes.
• Experience in interdisciplinary care coordination and staffing management.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing and RN licensure are required.
• ACLS/BLS with NIHSS/TCAR certifications or equivalent within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the post-surgical/neuro medical unit.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and regulatory requirements.
• Lead efforts to improve patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and throughput efficiently.
