Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Denton is seeking a Neuro Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Rehab unit. You will evaluate patients, design personalized plans, and use advanced rehab approaches to restore movement and independence.

Typical schedule is 8 AM – 4:30 PM with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts. Requirements include Texas licensure as a PT, a Bachelor's degree, geriatric/neurological experience, and CPR/BLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience with geriatric and adult patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
• Leading by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity

Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist
• Bachelors Degree required
• Experience with geriatric and adult patients with neurological and orthopedic
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
