Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff currently seeks an experienced RN for Neuro PCU in a high-acuity setting. The position offers 13 or 26 week contracts with night shifts and 12-hour blocks. Experience with EPIC, neuro/stepdown care, and travel nursing is highly preferred.

Candidates must hold an active RN license and ACLS/BLS/CPI/NIHSS certifications, with strong charting proficiency. Frequent float requirements and possible weekend coverage are part of the role.

Qualifications

ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Active RN license required.
EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
Charge nurse experience preferred.
Travel experience is expected for staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Float frequently to meet staffing needs across units.
Work nights, 12-hour shifts, with 1:3 to 1:4 stepdown coverage.
Provide care for neuro and neurosurgery patients (strokes, aneurysms, seizures).
Adhere to nicotine-free policy and manage patient safety standards.
