Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a Neuro Stepdown and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in Morgantown, WV. This 13-week night-shift assignment focuses on high-acuity neuroscience patients with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and potential floating to other units as needed.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of nursing experience, a valid license, and strong Neuro experience, including stroke care and NIHSS implementation. BLS/NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity neuroscience patients with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Titrate medications only per physician orders (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Insulin).
• Support stroke care including post-TPA and EVD considerations; manage telemetry as needed.
