Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practice. You will coordinate patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing, NC RN licensure or a Compact state license, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state; CPR/BLS certification.
• Current CPR certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider).

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure direct and proper care.
• Analyzes patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies additional interventions needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
