Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for neuro and post-operative patients. The RN will collaborate with the stroke team and neurology specialists to optimize outcomes and safety.

The unit focuses on comprehensive stroke and seizure care, with emphasis on teamwork, continuing education, and adherence to best-practice standards. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license must be active and in good standing.
• RN Diploma or higher required for Neuro PCU nursing.
• Experience in progressive care or neuro units preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Neuro PCU.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teams to support patient recovery.
• Advocate for patients to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient care.
• Monitor neurological status, vitals, and post-operative needs for stroke care.
