Job summary

The Tass Lab at Stanford University’s Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate innovative clinical studies on Parkinson’s disease. This on-site, full-time role involves device trials for neuromodulation, longitudinal natural history studies, and PI-initiated projects with adult subjects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of clinical research experience.
• Experience with HIPAA, FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and GCP.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with MS Office and databasing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subject recruitment and study enrollment goals.
• Oversee data management; develop systems to organize, collect, report and monitor data.
• Develop project schedules, targets, measurements and lead team meetings.
• Formally supervise, train or mentor new staff or students as assigned.
• Audit operations to ensure regulatory compliance; monitor IRB submissions.
• Collaborate with principal investigators and sponsors; monitor adverse events.
• Develop study budgets and track milestones; invoice sponsors per contract.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; manage FDA/IND and IRB renewals when applicable.
