Job summary

Berger Health System in Columbus, OH, seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Neuro clinic. The role supports neuro providers in a fast-paced outpatient environment, handling medication prior authorizations and general clinical support.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio LPN license, BLS certification, and has completed the Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course. Shift is 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, across Lane Avenue and Riverside clinics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing health assessments for patients.
• Document nursing interventions and plan care with the care team.
• Assist with medication prior authorizations and patient flow in the outpatient neuro clinic.
• Room patients, perform urine drug screens, and support clinic operations as needed.
• Coordinate care and ensure patient safety in a high-volume outpatient setting.
