Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Neuro clinic. This blended 40-hour-per-week role supports providers in neuro-related conditions, with 3 days at the Lane Avenue Clinic and 2 days at the MS Clinic at Riverside.

Hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Responsibilities include managing a high-volume inbox and phones, medication prior authorizations, and assisting providers with administrative and clinical

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing and functional health status assessment and document data.
• Document planned nursing interventions and coordinate care plans.
• Evaluate responses to nursing interventions and modify plans as needed.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate continuity of care with the health care team.
• Participate in process improvement and patient advocacy.
