Job summary

Asante in Medford, OR is seeking a Neuro/Ortho RN for a 1st shift, 0.90 FTE. The unit supports 34 beds, with day shift nurse–patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 and 1:5 to 1:6 on nights, in a union environment.

You will have opportunities to earn specialty certifications (Orthopedic, Stroke, Medical/Surgical) and to become a Certified Trainer for nursing students and new graduates, while maintaining OSBN RN licensure and BLS at start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by OSBN required upon start.
• BLS: Basic Life Support required upon start.
• Experience in Neuro/Ortho preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Neuro/Ortho patient care with day shift ratios of 1:4–1:5 and night shift 1:5–1:6.
• Work toward Orthopedic, Stroke, and Medical/Surgical certifications.
• Serve as Certified Trainer for Nursing Students/New Graduates.
