Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech, or someone interested in becoming a nursing assistant and providing patient care. Candidates without certification or applicable experience will receive 6 weeks of full-time on-the-job training. After training, the schedule will be full-time, day shift with self-scheduling flexibility. You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience. Our nursing assistants make an impact on patients' hospital stays daily by providing individualized care in a positive, supportive environment. The Work:

• Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Proactively anticipates the needs of patients' families.
• Customizes and modifies care based on individual patient needs.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to improve patient care.

To succeed in this role, strong communication and time management skills are essential. We seek team-oriented Nursing Assistants eager to expand their skills and attentive to detail. We welcome entry-level and experienced CNAs, nursing assistants, and patient care techs. If you are interested in providing patient care but lack experience or have worked in home health, the 6-week training will prepare you to confidently perform your duties.
