Job summary
Novant Health is recruiting a full-time BC/BE Neuro-Oncologist to join the Wilmington, NC neuroscience team. The role focuses on building a comprehensive neuro-oncology program with collaboration across neurosurgery, neuropathology and medical/radiation oncology within the Novant Health network.
The position offers opportunities to contribute to clinical pathways, tumor boards, and system-wide trials while teaching medical students, residents and advanced practice providers.
Qualifications
- Neurology residency completed with subspecialty training in neuro-oncology.
- Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology completed or in progress.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology; licensure to practice in NC.
Responsibilities
- Help develop a system-wide neuro-oncology program centered at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
- Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuropathology, medical and radiation oncology across the network.
- Teach medical students, residents and advanced practice providers.
- Contribute to neuro-oncology clinical pathways, tumor boards and clinical trials.
- Grow referral network and participate in program development.
