Neuro-Oncologist and/or Neurologist

• MSK’s Department of Neurology invites qualified applicants to apply for this exciting Neuro-Oncologist and/or Neurologist position. We seek neuro-oncology candidates or neurology-trained applicants with a broad interest in general neurology (seizures, neuropathy, stroke, memory loss, etc.) within a cancer population.
• The MSK Department of Neurology consists of two services: a) Neuro-Oncology and Cancer Neurology and b) Cancer Rehabilitation. MSK’s network extends from Southern New Jersey to Eastern Long Island.
• The Neuro-Oncology and Cancer Neurology Service includes 18 fellowship-trained neuro-oncologists, 6 cancer neurologists, and 7 advanced practice providers.
• The clinical trial portfolio offers cutting-edge therapies to patients with CNS cancers and complications.

Key Requirements:

• Collaborate with specialists in Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology.
• Attend outpatient clinics in Manhattan and regional locations (Long Island, NJ). Participate in inpatient and consult services.
• Support from trained staff, including coordinators, nurses, and research staff, will be provided.
• Opportunities to mentor and teach students, residents, and fellows.
• Support for research and clinical trials infrastructure.
• Lead the growth of a world-class neuro-oncology program.

Candidates must hold an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree, be Board certified or eligible in neurology and/or neuro-oncology, and able to obtain a New York Medical License. Clinical and research interest in CNS tumors is required. Completion of an accredited neuro-oncology or neurology fellowship is required.

Pay Range: $285,000 - $370,326

Physician compensation varies and this range represents annual salary only, excluding performance-based pay or one-time payments.
