Job summary

Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 4W Neuro team. The role supports daily patient care under RN supervision, assisting with activities of daily living per care plans.

Part-time, 0.8 FTE, with day and evening rotations and every-other-weekend schedule. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits for part- and full-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Assistant on Minnesota/National registries or be enrolled in an accredited Nursing program with clinical rotations; Six months of verifiable clinical experience; BLS certification (Provider or Healthcare Provider) per AHA/Red Cross.
• Experience: Six months of verifiable clinical experience.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant, under the direction of the RN, assists with activities of daily living and comfort measures per written plan of care.
• Assists with patient care activities and services of a technical nature; supports daily unit activities and order.
• Maintains confidentiality and communicates effectively with patients, families and health team members.
