Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse for Nights on our Neuro/Med-Surgical unit. The RN performs patient care procedures and plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, and care standards.

The nurse supervises delegated acts and collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Shift is 12-hour, e/o Friday, Saturday, Sunday, with one additional 12-hour shift within a two-week pay period and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis.
• Previous patient care experience (may be as a student in a clinical setting).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care procedures and collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to hospital policies and care standards.
• Supervises delegated nursing acts and communicates with the care team.
